1. What is SMS?
|

|
SMS (Short Message Service) is a service for sending messages to
a wireless device (e.g. mobile phone, PDA, etc.). You can send
up to 160 characters depending on the recipient's mobile device
as well as the language you type in. Currently, you can send SMS
containing Arabic and English characters through Group SMS
Service. |

Group SMS Service is a wireless communications service that
allows you to send a message to a pre-defined group in your
account. You can send a message to a group from the site or
using you mobile device. |

1. How do I send/ reply a short message from
GroupSMS
Service’s website or Mobile?
|
|
|
|
|
|
If you want to send from you mobile:
|
|
|

After you registered and sign in to
home page,
click Groups to edit your groups.
-
Click modify on groups and enter your friend's mobile number
and name into your phone book under a group that designates
his relation.

Type in your message the group name/ID that contains member
groups that you want to send your message to followed by the
hash character (#), and then type
your message.

Send SMS from the mobile to the Group SMS Server (1201). If
you see "Message sent", it means your message has been sent
to the recipient's Inbox and wireless device. If you see
"Message Not Sent", please confirm that you have entered the
correct Group SMS Server number.

If you want to send through the web site: |
|
|
|
If you do not have a mobile device, you can still use all of our
services as long as you have a valid subscription in our
services to send SMS through Group SMS Service site. Before you
can send/ receive messages on our website, you need to
register first. Registration
is FREE! |

|
All SMS sent through your SMS ID will be delivered to the
recipient’s SMS Inbox with your signature/nick name. |

2. Is it free to register for Group SMS Service?
|
|
|
|
Yes, registration is FREE! Go to
Registration, and fill out the registration form. You will
receive your activation code on your mobile immediately as you
submit your registration information. You can always
update/change your profile information through the web site. |

3. Is my network supported by Group SMS Service? |
|
Currently, the system is only enabled for local users of the GSM
Network, providing that even outgoing SMS messages are
restricted for local GSM numbers. |
